Birther Website Pushes Breitbart Assassination Conspiracy Theories

As many of you know Andrew Breitbart died from natural causes on Thursday at the age of 43. Now the birther website World Net Daily is peddling theories that he was assassinated by allies of President Obama. This is being based on Breitbart recently claiming he had videos on Obama from his college days he planned to release and/or Sheriff Joe Arpaio saying Obama’s long-form birth certificate was fake.

If Breitbart could say something right now in response to these conspiracy theories on his death, what would he say? Surprisingly to some, he'd probably urge his followers to run away from them. I base that on an interview he did with Jonathan Kay author of Among the Truthers: A Journey Through America’s Growing Conspiracist Underground, which is a must read book that I highly recommend.
When I met Breitbart at the 2010 National Tea Party convention in Nashville, TN, in fact, he was furious that so much podium time was being given over to Barack Obama Birther types, who he thought discredited the Tea Party cause. [National Post 3/1/12]
Breitbart was referring to people like the World Net Daily's President Joseph Farah.

What's really scary is how mainstream World Net Daily is for the modern right wing. SEE BELOW its internet traffic ranking compared to other conservative websites including Breitbart's Big Government. WND is in blue on top. You can compare it with any other conservative website using Alexa.
